Been lurking around at webhostingtalk for quite sometimes already but didn’t register an account until recently.

Here is my first review for a Singapore Web Host, Vodien, probably will be useful for those looking for offshore hosting, especially in Asia.

Originally, I started my site with Sharkspace, however due to some problems, we decided to move to another host.

Since our target audience are mostly Singaporeans, we decided to find a Singapore Web Host instead.

I registered an account with them on 01 October 2009 around midnight 12 plus (Singapore Time GMT+8). Payment was made around 12 am and around 3 am, I received my account information which I think it was quite acceptable for that timing since they do not have automatic setup.

After having received our account information, I immediately start to transfer my site over to them. Having met with some problems, I submitted a support ticket and it was replied within minutes, considering it was 4am in Singapore Time GMT+8, it definitely a plus!

Everything were blazing fast after I moved my forum to their server. Then, I noticed that account activation email sent to hotmail were bounced back. I immediately, submitted my second ticket to notify them about this problem and they contacted hotmail regarding this and within few days, this was solved.

Been with them for six months and counting

Will recommend Vodien for those looking for Singapore Web Host with excellent support and blazing fast server!
