We have had our VPS with e-Sensibility.com since 5th February 2010, unlike the majority of VPS we have used in the past it is Xen based opposed to OpenVZ based.

This has mainly been used for development of part of a Web-Based control panel, and also for experimentation with the Xen platform.

The hardware setup has been extremely well thought out with server grade Xeon 5500 series CPUs, Triple Channel DDR3 RAM, 15k RPM SAS based storage etc. – I also had a fairly lengthy conversion with them about the ins and outs of Xen vs OpenVZ in relation to UnixBench scores at one point, and was very impressed with the in-depth knowledge of the Xen platform that they had – they definitely know what they are doing.

Support is excellent – on par with the likes of Server Complete in terms of response times (as in, responses within minutes of submitting a ticket) and as I already mentioned, extremely knowledgeable.

Uptime has been very good, there was one downtime for a few hours that I noticed late one evening (UK time) and when I got up in the morning I had a message waiting for me in the support portal apologising for the outage – and as per their SLA, a 200% account credit (or in other words, two months of service free) – which I was impressed with.

Overall I have been extremely pleased with e-Sensibility, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality Xen based VPS – an added bonus that is that it comes with dedicated backup space equal to the size of your VPS disk space at no extra charge.
