It is time for me to review my current providers again – first up is delimiter.us who I have been with for just over 7 months now (I did mean to review them last month, but never got round to it).
Currently we have two VPS with them, one in Germany (since 18th November 2009) and one in Sane Jose, US (since 3rd January 2010).

Server resource allocations are generous, and the user_beancounters settings are too – with the default settings being more than enough for regular operation of a VPS, which is nice as there was no need to ask for things to be increased – some providers set these limits rather low which is something I always look out for.

Uptime is pretty good with it currently standing at around 99.8% for the German VPS, and 99.95% for the VPS in San Jose according to my pingdom reports (all VPS are monitored at one minute intervals).

I have found support to be reasonably quick, and helpful whenever needed in the past – however I am the kind of person that rarely needs to submit a support ticket, and on the occasions that I have it has been for things like having rDNS set, or for having TAP/TUN support enabled, iptables modules loaded, etc.

Having said that there seem to be a fair few people having problems getting support responses recently, so if you are looking for a provider with quick support replies it may well be worth looking elsewhere – however personally I have not experienced any problems with support at all.

Overall I am very happy with the service they provide, in general it’s just a matter of me having to keep the software up to date and leaving it be – which is exactly what I want to do when maintaining a VPS.
